While o the BYU-Idaho Comm 316 photo excursion last week, I was able to borrow Sister Esplins filter, which allows you to be able to take bulb (very long) exposures during the day.  This first image is what I got from using the ND filter for about one minute during the middle of the day!  Wow, I might need to save up for one of those:)  I love how the water blurs over the rocks, I think it has such a calming effect.

The other images in this post are just 30 second exposures taken at night.  Most of them (with the exception of the moon flare image) ended up being light paintings – which required 30 second exposures.  It was definitely a whole new experience for me to play with long exposures and bulb exposures.
