Still life macros were both really exciting and a little frustrating for me – believe it or not. Although the subject didn’t move by almost anything but me, I had a hard time getting my creative eye on at first. Once I started to see how to adjust my off camera lighting, it became a lot easier.
I have to apologize again for those cute little water droplets hanging around. Why not spice those still life macros up a little bit with a little water droplet of two every once and a while!?! I realized that there are some incredible textures all around us everyday that we often overlook or see as ordinary. I think that macro photography is an attempt to bridge that gap between ordinary and extraordinary.
MALORIE! You are amazing at these macro still life shots. I love the texture shots you got and all of the beautiful water drops. Also, you have a skill for finding beautifully colored items! That jewelry looks stunning. You should check out Anna’s blog post! It has so many cool angles of this watch that I really think you’ll enjoy 🙂 Great job! http://www.annacphotography.com/macro-still-life-2/
