Oh my goodness! I think I have found my new pass time for the next few months! Shooting macro (really close shots) is so neat. For these macros, I didn’t have access to any macro tubes, so I just used my zoom lens. It was especially fun once I started to add just a little splash of color.
I set up my little operation at my kitchen table and used two sources of light. I had all the lights in the kitchen except my two axillary lights and tried to juggle holding on of them, dropping the water and pressing the shutter button! Wow, I am so pleased with how some of these turned out. I used a relatively high shutter speed and a high (or narrow) F-Stop for these photos.
