Still life macros were both really exciting and a little frustrating for me – believe it or not.  Although the subject didn’t move by almost anything but me, I had a hard time getting my creative eye on at first.  Once I started to see how to adjust my off camera lighting, it became a lot easier.

I have to apologize again for those cute little water droplets hanging around.  Why not spice those still life macros up a little bit with a little water droplet of two every once and a while!?!  I realized that there are some incredible textures all around us everyday that we often overlook or see as ordinary.  I think that macro photography is an attempt to bridge that gap between ordinary and extraordinary.
