During the beginning of October this year, I was able to go on a photography excursion to Sky Mountain Lodge in Victor, Idaho with some of my BYU-Idaho peers.  Caryn Esplin, our instructor, encouraged us to experiment with and try to replicate Dave Black’s light painting style.  If you have never heard of Dave Black before, you should check out some of his light paintings, they are gorgeous.

Who doesn’t love antiques?!  There were so many beautiful and fun treasures to photography and light paint that I thought to myself, “I better stop thinking that old stuff is just junk”.  I’ve always had this little inner battle inside of me as to wether or not to keep certain old items because someday I might need them or want them, but then I have to store them… So I still just don’t know what to do with that topic.

The cowboy hat and red cowgirl boots were so  cool though.  I am a sucker for old western things like that rope and saddle.
