I really wanted to try doing a typographic portrait as one of my creative photography projects.  Originally I wanted to try doing a typographic portrait with ann up close image of someones face.  I just did a bridal shoot in Rexburg this last weekend and I am a little obsessed with those photos right now, so I decided to use an image from that pre-wedding shoot.

I brain stormed for words that pertain to love, marriage, weddings, brides, LDS temples, ect.  I then compiled a folder of typefaces I liked and felt like went well with the theme of this typographic portrait.  I then styled each element of typography and placed them through out the back side of the brides wedding dress so to replicate the wedding dress with white type.

I couldn’t decide which variation I preferred, so I included both in this post.  I love how elegant it looks with the black background, though it’s not as light as one might imagine a wedding dress to be.
